Something has been stirring in my spirit for months concerning South Florida. It’s not subtle. It’s not seasonal. It’s not momentary. It’s a shift in the spiritual climate — a real-time battle in the unseen realm — and the Lord has been speaking to me with increasing urgency about the war over this region.
South Florida is not just a place we live. It’s a spiritual gateway. It’s a crossroads of nations. It’s a landing strip for both glory and darkness. What happens here has ripple effects far beyond our borders, and the enemy knows it. But the Spirit of God is raising up a people who will not sleep through this hour.
I see patterns — biblical patterns, historical patterns, and prophetic patterns — that point to a decisive moment for our region.
Let me share what I’m hearing for South Florida so we can align, stand, and war together with clarity and authority.

1. A Region of Contention at the Gate
South Florida is a contested gate. Where there is a gate, there is always a conflict over who controls it.
In the Old Testament, the gate was the place of:
- Authority
- Commerce
- Influence
- Judgment
- Access
The same is true spiritually.
The enemy understands that South Florida is a gate for:
- the nations
- media
- culture
- migration
- commerce
- and yes, revival
Ports, airports, cruise hubs, and international traffic have made this region a revolving door of influence. That means what we allow in this region affects more than our local cities. It affects the nations that pass through it.
Jesus said, “I will build My church, and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” That means the church is assigned to confront, challenge, and claim the gates.
South Florida is one of those gates.
2. A Spirit of Confusion Has Targeted This Region
There’s a swirling cloud — not over one city, but stretching from Miami to Fort Lauderdale to West Palm. It looked chaotic, disorienting, and loud.
This is the spirit of confusion that has worked to keep this region from rising into its purpose. It’s connected to witchcraft.
This confusion shows up as:
- moral confusion
- identity confusion
- spiritual confusion
- political confusion
- relational confusion
- church confusion
It’s behind the cycles of division, distraction, and derailment that keep ministries, leaders, and believers from building long-term momentum.
Confusion loses power when truth is proclaimed.
Confusion loses power when people walk in unity.
Confusion loses power when the church discerns the times and responds with understanding rather than reaction.
This is why you’re seeing increased prophetic activity in this region. God is answering the spirit of confusion with a wave of clarity.
3. A Clash Over Atmosphere
Every region has an atmosphere. And every atmosphere is either yielded to the Spirit of God or manipulated by spiritual darkness.
South Florida has long been a battleground for atmosphere — heavy nightlife, high occult activity, strong seduction, high-level witchcraft, and territorial spirits that thrive in spiritual apathy.
But the Lord is raising up watchmen who will not allow the enemy to dictate the atmosphere of this region.
This is why the Lord has been pressing so strongly on:
- purity
- consecration
- militant worship
- watchman intercession
- holiness
- alignment
He is preparing a people who know how to host His presence, guard the atmosphere, and resist the enemy at the gate.
4. A Regional Separation Is Taking Place
God is dividing between those who treat His presence as common and those who will carry His glory.
This is not judgment. It is alignment. God is forming a remnant in South Florida that will:
- stand against compromise
- refuse mixture
- embrace holiness
- carry weight in the spirit
- discern the times
- steward the supernatural
- confront darkness, not coexist with it
These are the ones He will use to shift the atmosphere over the region.
We are in a Gideon moment, where the Lord is trimming armies to reveal the ones who are truly ready for war.
5. The Glory Is Coming — But It Will Rest on Prepared Altars
I’ve been sensing a coming wave of God’s glory — not hype, not emotion, but true weighty glory. God’s glory will not rest everywhere. It will rest where the altar is restored.
This is why He has been dealing with:
- prayerlessness
- complacency
- compromise
- mixture
- distraction
- and spiritual dullness
He is cleansing altars so He can fill them.
The Lord is preparing South Florida to be a place where His glory rises like a pillar — a place where people encounter Him, not religion.
But this will require:
- alignment
- unity
- consecration
- intercession
- obedience
Those who respond will carry something that transforms regions.
6. The Call to War: Stand, Watch, and Guard the Gate
Here is the word of the Lord for this moment:
“Stand at the gate. Watch at the gate. Guard the gate.”
This is not the hour to be passive.
This is not the hour to disengage.
This is not the hour to let the region drift.
The Lord is calling South Florida to:
- Stand in its authority
- Watch with discernment
- Guard the atmosphere
- Push back darkness
- Break cycles
- Prepare the way for glory
This is a strategic moment. The war over South Florida is not a sign of defeat. It is a sign that the enemy senses what God is about to release.
And he’s terrified.
7. What You Can Do Now
Here are three instructions for those who live, serve, or worship in this region:
1. Stay spiritually sharp.
This is not the time to be dull or distracted.
2. Strengthen your prayer life.
Authority rises from intimacy.
3. Align with the house God has planted you in.
Regional victory requires corporate alignment.
We rise together.
South Florida is in a spiritual war — but it is a war we are built for. The glory that is coming is greater than the warfare that surrounds it. The resistance is real, but so is the remnant. The battle is intense, but so is the assignment.
God is positioning this region for a move of His Spirit, and He is calling His people to stand, watch, and war with Him until South Florida becomes a beacon of His presence.
